July Stamp of the Month

At first I have to admit that this was not one of my favorite stamp sets that I received when I got all six stamp of the months with my Idea book order,  However I ended up really liking it and thought it would be perfect for the gifts for the paraprofessionals and helpers in my daughter's classroom. I found this cookie jar recipe on Pinterest, and was going to used dried cherries instead of the cranberries but oh lordy they are way to expensive so I opted for cherry sweetened cranberries.  I used a chipboard tag and the coordinating image from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and cut it out at 4 inches. I tucked the recipe behind the tag. You can get this stamp set for only $5 when you spend $50 worth of CTMH goodies. Thanks for stopping by!

First Vinyl Project

Hi and thanks for stopping by, I made this project for my daughter's preschool teacher.  A friend of mine seen this project on Pinterest and wanted to make one for her daughter's teacher and didn't have the Cricut cartridge to make the superhero symbol so we worked on it together. Cricut Craftroom comes in handy for these types of projects when you need to do layering, I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the letters and A Child's Year for the apple, Paper Doll Dress-Up for the superhero symbol, and the C was from Cricut Craftroom basics. I also made one for the soccer coach, which said "I Coach" instead of "I teach". and just put a soccer ball on the back. Working with vinyl was fun, however I wasted alot with trying to get it just right ( I found it a little difficult to get the apple and soccer ball to be smooth). Sorry the pics aren't the best, I was in a hurry to get this done last minute. Next year I am committing myself to making projects a little earlier before the end of the school year!
